forums and blogs differ by the way you can comment of the posts, for instants on forums you can reply to the persons feed, but on a blog you can only comment rather than add to it.

Creating a Style Sheet

Today I had to make a logo for Storm Tracker 7. to do this i had to learn that the style sheet is very important to make a picture or logo for your picture. To make it took some time, as there where lots of diffferent things to do like, make the text 3D and making the lightning using the filter>clouds tool.

I also learned that to make the logo you have to be precise and if you miss a step, then you could make the whole thing not work, and if you follow instructions on it, then it will work.

3G

3G stands for 3rd Generation, but its proper name is International Mobile Telecommunications-2000 (IMT-2000)

The History
NTT DoCoMo a Japan Branded FOMA , where the first pre-commerical 3G network provider, this was on 1st October 2001, even thpught it was the first it was somewhat limited in the scope that it had.

The First European pre-commercail was at the Isle Of Man, by Manx Telecom. The first commerical network in europe was opened for business by Telenor in December 2001.

The Applications
Some of the applications that were not previously available due to the lack of bandwidth:
Mobile TV - the provider redirects a TV channel directly to the phone of the subscriber, where it then can be watched
Video On Demand - the subscriber's phone is sent a movie from the provider.
Video Conferencing - Subscribers can talk to each other aswell as see each other.
Tele-medicine - a isolated subscriber can have advice from the providers

I have learnt that, GPRS is always on when you have your phone on with you, also GPRS can enhance the power of the 2G network, so it acts more like a 3G network would.

WAP & GSM

Wap is short for Wireless Application Protocol, this is most used for web access. WAP can be used for looking at:
Email by mobile phone
Tracking of stock-market prices
Sports results
News headlines new
Music downloads
While you are on the move with your mobile phone.

GSM is short for Global System for Mobile Communications it was origanally called Groupe Spécial Mobile, is the most popular standard for mobile telephony systems in the world. it was created in 1982, it was designed by the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT).

Forum

Forum are good because you can share information with other people, then they can comment on your post, so you know what can be improved or what is awesome.
The advantages about forums are that they can be active even when the own of the forum is not online. Also only people that are signed up to the forum can actually comment on the forum that has been started.
The disadvantages of forums are that if you have a forum which has a lot of comments, there are going to be some comments that are not relevant to the forum, also if you do not stats how long the forum will go on for then the forum could go on for weeks or even month.

What important informoation from W3C will you now consider before you produce a website?

Worldwide web consortium

I no not to put in more than 3 flashes per second, so people are less likely to have a seizures. There are 8 barriers that you have to over some when you make a web site, they are:
1.no internet access
2.compatibility
3.language
4.limited resource
5.interests
6.funding
7.disability
8.countries laws

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to allow people to improve access for everyone not just for average person. People how suffer for a long term disability often use the computer/internet more compatible for a key objective. Guidelines are to keep people on the right path to learn from the mistakes of those before them to create the user wants.
